Job Title - Field Services Engineer Reporting To - Operations Director Location - Cairo, Egypt
Key Responsibilities Ensure work is carried out safely and that HSE policies are adhered to. Ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained. Report any concerns to the lead hand or supervisor over issues arising when disassembling and assembling, and do not allow sub-standard product to leave the workshop. Equipment inspection reports are accurate and on time. Rebuild reports are accurate and completed on time. Department deadlines are met - daily, weekly work schedule. Ensure all equipment in the workshop is maintained to a high standard. Where required, support site activities. Carry out pre-start checks at the start of each Job. Correct selection of tools, measuring devices, and equipment to dismantle, inspect, and reassemble equipment. OEM procedures are followed, and all sizing and condition reports are completed. Any non-conformances or deviations are reported and investigated. High quality of workmanship. Standard of housekeeping in the workplace. Ensure helpers are supervised and/or trained for any jobs they do. Ensure time is booked on the system as per procedure. Ensure daily updates are provided on job status. Report any problems or issues directly by communicating with line management.
Qualifications & Requirements English and Arabic are essential. Fresh Graduated Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree. Computer Literate.
Prior Work Experience & Skills Good communication, ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision. Ability to meet deadlines. Customer focused. Understanding of pump operation and fault finding of equipment in the field. Work experience on Power, Desalination / RO plants and water distribution network pumps and related equipment. Workshop experience.
