Overview: As our Local Purchasing Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind our local procurement activities, ensuring optimal inventory levels, cost-effectiveness, and seamless integration with our broader supply chain. • Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and Execute: Develop and implement robust local purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on cost reduction and quality assurance.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

  • Procurement Oversight: Manage the entire local procurement lifecycle, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

  • Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Manufacturing background is a MUST

• Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Logistics Management and Procurement Strategies.

  • Proven track record in Purchasing and Supply Chain Optimization.
