An experienced Finishing Engineer is required to lead all finishing works across our project sites, from concept to snag-free handover.

Responsibilities Site Execution & Supervision● Plan, organize, and oversee all finishing activities (partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, wet areas, cladding) across multiple work fronts.● Review and approve drawings, material submittals, and method statements prior to execution.● Ensure works are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.● Price and evaluate raw materials, sourcing the best quality at the most competitive rates through wholesale suppliers.● Prepare and control each site's budget with a high degree of accuracy. Team Leadership● Manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of finishing site engineers, foremen and technicians ● Allocate manpower, subcontractor resources, and equipment across active fronts.● Set performance targets for the finishing team and follow up on execution KPIs. Quality & Safety● Enforce quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections and snagging/de-snagging.● Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on all finishing activities.● Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and non-conformance records. Planning & Coordination● Coordinate finishing sequencing with civil, MEP, and façade teams to avoid clashes and delays.● Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical and execution issues.● Track progress against the master schedule and escalate delays with corrective action plans. Commercial & Reporting● Review quantity surveying, as-built documentation, and interim/final invoicing for finishing packages.● Prepare and present periodic progress reports to CEO.● Support cost control and value engineering for finishing scopes.
Qualifications● Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.● Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finishing works, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.● Proven track record on large-scale projects (residential compounds, commercial towers, hotels, or malls preferred).● Strong command of Auto CAD, MS Project, Primavera and MS Office.● Solid knowledge of finishing materials, construction methods, and Egyptian building codes.● Very good command of English, spoken and written.● PMP certification or equivalent is preferred ● Familiarity with local building codes
