Job Objective: The warehouse worker is responsible for receiving, storing, and preparing food products inside the warehouse according to quality and food safety standards, ensuring accuracy of inventory and speed of order fulfillment. Job duties and responsibilities: 1) Receiving and storage: Receiving food products and matching them with purchase orders or receiving notes. Organizing and storing products inside the warehouse in a correct and safe manner. Adherence to proper storage methods for each product. Ensure cleanliness and suitability of storage areas. 2) Dispensing and order preparation: Preparing orders according to issue orders. Loading products onto distribution vehicles in coordination with drivers. Ensuring package integrity during loading. Complying with FIFO/FEFO instructions during dispensing. 3) Quality and food safety: Monitoring expiration dates and reporting any near-expiry or expired products. Adhering to personal hygiene instructions and wearing the designated uniform. Complying with food safety procedures inside the warehouse. Reporting any product damage or contamination immediately. 4) Inventory and organization: Assisting with regular and surprise inventories. Maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse continuously. Reporting any stock discrepancies or shortages.
