Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Cairo. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including assembling raw footage, editing sequences, and preparing content for various digital channels. Daily responsibilities include applying color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics and visual elements, and ensuring all videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives. The role involves close collaboration with consultants and other team members to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging visual stories. The Video Editor will also manage file organization, follow production timelines, and maintain high technical and creative standards across all projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and basic camera operation, including planning shoots and managing raw footage. Candidates should possess strong Video Editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, audio syncing, and exporting in multiple formats. Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and color correction to achieve consistent, professional visual output. Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower-thirds, infographics, and other visual assets. Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial. Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to interpret creative briefs effectively. Ability to work on-site in Cairo, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Relevant education or certifications in film, media production, design, or a related field are advantageous, as is prior experience in corporate or consultancy settings.
