Job Title: Manager Business Development Engineer Company Name: Elsewedy Electric - IPP
Job Purpose Drive profitable growth of the IPP / Renewable Energy Portfolio via Building strong, enduring relationships with key Developers and Regulatory Stakeholders as well as local partners within the target markets (Mainly Balkan Region and South Europe) including private companies and Contractors in order to attain projects’ portfolio targets and growing Elsewedy Electric projects’ footprint in the target market.
Key Accountabilities Explore new IPP & EPC opportunities in Target Markets (Francophone Africa, South Europe and Balkans) Review the IPP project documents (PPA, Implementation Agreement, Usufruct Agreement… etc.) to extract the commercial risks associated to each agreement. Conduct market research & project teasers.enable identification of potential partners, contractors, technical advisors, 3rd party auditors, etc.manage tender documentation preparation & collaborate with various departments (technical, treasury, tax, and legal). Conduct presentation for ongoing project to Business Development Director, Senior Vice president Approach lenders to finance IPP projects. Create or review financial models for renewable energy projects Negotiate with lenders to get better financing terms. Prepare action plans to govern the development process. Allocate project budgets, identify projects major milestone & timeline. Hire legal, tax & financial advisors to assist during projects. Assist in conducting basic financial feasibility analysis in collaboration with the Project Finance team, and provide findings to the line manager, in order to support in the preliminary analysis for the financial model. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, considering company goals and financial standing, to evaluate the feasibility of potential projects. Assist legal team during contract negotiation from a commercial perspective."

Qualification & Education:Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant discipline Years of Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in Renewable Energy business development Language: Fluent French & English – French is a must Computer skills: Microsoft office.
Technical competencies:Understanding the entire business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, capture management, technical solution design, proposal writing, costing, and applicable regulations. Ability to provide technical data built around specific customer or project requirements to adapt required technical solutions into existing or new products and generate correct product specifications. Finance, project finance and financial knowledge Ability to work and understand projects’ financial models. Ability to understand, comment and negotiate project documents and finance documents Ability to analyze projects’ technical specifications. Technical and business acumen. Prospecting and sales call management. Extensive knowledge of renewables market. Ability to collect, analyze and utilize market data regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences and market trends.
