Role Description The Pre-K Class Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. This full-time, on-site role based in Egypt involves creating a nurturing classroom environment, organizing learning centers, and using play-based and activity-based teaching methods. The teacher will observe and document student progress, communicate regularly with families, and collaborate with colleagues to align lesson plans with school standards. Daily responsibilities include classroom management, preparation of instructional materials, maintaining a safe and clean learning space, and participating in school meetings, events, and professional development. The Pre-K Class Teacher also supports inclusive practices to meet the needs of children with varied learning styles and backgrounds. Qualifications Strong classroom management and early childhood instructional skills, with the ability to design engaging, age-appropriate learning activities. Ability to foster social-emotional development, encourage positive behavior, and support collaborative play among young learners. Effective communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues, including clear reporting on student progress. Organizational and time-management skills to plan lessons, prepare materials, and maintain a structured daily routine. Understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices, including inclusive and culturally responsive teaching. Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; prior experience working with Pre-K or early years students is highly beneficial. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and collaborate in a team-oriented school environment. Ability to work on-site in Egypt and comply with local regulations and school policies.
