Role Description The Quality Manager Carpet Textile is a full-time, on-site role based in El Sadat City. This role oversees quality control and assurance across carpet production lines, ensuring that all products meet company standards and relevant industry norms. Daily tasks include monitoring production processes, conducting inspections and tests, reviewing quality data, and identifying root causes for defects or nonconformities. The Quality Manager collaborates with production, procurement, and design teams to implement corrective actions, optimize processes, and maintain consistent quality levels. The role also includes developing and updating quality procedures, training team members on best practices, and preparing quality reports for management.
Qualifications
Experience in quality management within textiles, carpets, or related manufacturing environments, including implementing and maintaining quality standards. Knowledge of textile materials, carpet production techniques, and quality testing methods relevant to pile, backing, colorfastness, and durability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret production and quality data and drive process improvements. Effective communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams and train staff on quality procedures. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards), documentation practices, and internal audit processes. Proficiency with basic computer applications and production/quality monitoring tools. Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Prior experience in carpet or textile manufacturing in Egypt or similar markets is an advantage; Turkish carpet industry knowledge is a plus.
