Role Description The Architecture Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria. The Architecture Supervisor will oversee architectural projects from concept through completion, coordinating design development, technical documentation, and construction phases. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project schedules and resources, guiding a multidisciplinary team, reviewing drawings and BIM models for accuracy and compliance, and ensuring alignment with client requirements, local regulations, and quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, resolving design and site issues, and providing clear technical guidance to team members. The Architecture Supervisor will support continuous improvement of design processes and contribute to maintaining efficient workflows and consistent project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to oversee complex design projects and ensure functional and aesthetic quality. Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders. Proven Team Leadership capabilities, with experience supervising architectural teams, mentoring staff, and fostering collaborative working environments. Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with the ability to review and manage BIM models for design coordination and documentation. Professional degree in Architecture or a related field; registration or licensure as an architect is preferred. Knowledge of building codes, standards, and local regulations relevant to projects in Alexandria. Competence in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up or similar). Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on-site, coordinate with contractors, and address technical issues efficiently.
