Role Description The Cost Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Double Tree by Hilton Sharm ElSheikh Sharm Bay in Sharm El Sheikh. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling costs across the resort’s operations, including food and beverage, rooms, and leisure activities. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing cost data, preparing cost reports, reviewing purchase orders, and verifying invoices against contracts and approved budgets. The Cost Control Manager collaborates with department heads to track inventory, manage stock levels, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality. The role also involves supporting forecasting and budgeting processes, maintaining compliance with Hilton policies and local regulations, and recommending improvements to cost control procedures and systems.
Qualifications
Strong financial and analytical skills, including cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting. Experience with inventory management and cost control in hospitality or a similar service-driven environment. Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial or ERP systems; familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage. Solid knowledge of accounting principles and internal control practices, with attention to accuracy and detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with operational teams and management. Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced resort environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus. Previous experience in a cost control or finance role within hotels or resorts is highly desirable. Ability to work on-site in Sharm El Sheikh and adapt to an international, guest-focused work culture.
