Role Description The Robotics and Coding Instructor is a temporary on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. The instructor will design and deliver robotics and programming lessons for learners of various age groups, using Armstrong’s curriculum and tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, setting up and maintaining classroom hardware and software, guiding students through practical projects, and providing individualized support. The role also involves assessing student progress, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and teamwork.
Qualifications
Robotics and STEM skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to students of different ages. Programming skills in one or more languages commonly used for educational robotics or beginner coding. Strong communication and training skills to lead interactive lessons and support diverse learners. Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or mentoring capacity. Basic classroom management and lesson planning abilities, with attention to safety and inclusivity. Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field preferred. Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt and adapt to a structured teaching schedule.
