Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for an Inclusion Support Teacher at GEMS British International School Al Rehab. This role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate educator who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the classroom and through small-group or individual interventions Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lesson plans and learning materials to meet individual student needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and student support strategies Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals to support students' development Promote inclusive teaching practices and provide guidance to colleagues on effective differentiation strategies Foster students' independence, confidence, and emotional well-being Contribute to the school's commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field Previous experience supporting students with SEND in an international school Strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiated instruction Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners with diverse needs
