Job description

Night audit & financial duties

• Perform end-of-day (EOD) procedures and close daily transactions.
• Reconcile room revenue, F&B revenue, and other hotel income.
• Verify all postings, charges, and payments for accuracy.
• Balance cash, credit cards, and city ledger transactions.
• Generate daily financial reports for management review.

Reporting & documentation

• Prepare the night audit report and distribute it to management.
• Maintain proper records of all transactions and corrections.
• Highlight discrepancies and unusual transactions.

Coordination

• Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, and Accounting departments.
• Ensure all systems (PMS, POS) are properly updated and balanced.

Security & safety

• Monitor hotel security during the night shift.
• Handle emergency situations according to hotel procedures.
• Ensure safety of guests and hotel property.

Qualifications

• Bacheloru2019s degree in Hospitality, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
• 1u20133 years of experience in Front Office or Night Audit role.
• Experience with hotel systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS).
• Basic accounting knowledge is required.

Reports to: Front Office Manager / Chief Accountant / Financial Controller
