Role Description The Primavera Advanced Instructor will deliver remote, part-time online training sessions on advanced Primavera features and applications for engineering and project management professionals. Responsibilities include designing course materials and lesson plans, preparing practical examples and case studies, and providing live demonstrations within Primavera. The instructor will guide learners through advanced scheduling, resource management, and project control techniques, answer questions during and after sessions, and assess learner progress through assignments, quizzes, or projects. The role also involves updating course content to reflect software and industry best-practice changes, collaborating with LPM’s training team to improve course structure, and providing constructive feedback to participants to support their professional development.
Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Primavera (e.g., scheduling, resource allocation, cost loading, baselines, earned value, reporting) and practical experience applying these skills in real projects. Instructional design and teaching skills, including the ability to plan lessons, structure curricula, and explain complex concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead interactive online sessions and facilitate discussions for diverse groups of learners. Comfort with remote training tools and learning management systems, including delivering live virtual classes, sharing screens, and managing digital course materials. Relevant professional experience in project management or engineering; PMI-related certifications (e.g., PMP) or Primavera certifications are an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Ability to work independently, manage part-time teaching schedules, and consistently meet training deadlines and quality standards. Experience tailoring content to different learner levels and backgrounds; prior teaching, mentoring, or corporate training experience is highly beneficial.
