General Manager – Luxury Hospitality (Confidential) Location: Hurghada, Egypt Salary: Negotiable Start Date: ASAPAbout the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the pre-opening and operational launch of a prestigious luxury hospitality development in Hurghada, Egypt. This is a confidential search on behalf of a leading hospitality owner and developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete pre-opening phase, establishing operational excellence, building a high-performing leadership team, and ensuring a successful launch of a world-class resort destination. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the hotel's pre-opening strategy and execution. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and brand standards. Recruit, develop and lead the executive leadership team. Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial performance. Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and service excellence. Ensure all departments are operationally ready ahead of opening. Build strong relationships with ownership, stakeholders and local authorities. Develop commercial strategies to maximise occupancy, ADR and overall profitability. Ensure compliance with all legal, health & safety and operational requirements. Create a positive culture focused on performance, teamwork and guest experience. Requirements Extensive experience as a General Manager within luxury hotels or resorts. Proven track record delivering successful hotel pre-openings. Strong experience within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is essential. International luxury hospitality background with globally recognised hotel brands. Exceptional leadership, commercial and operational management skills. Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Willingness to relocate to Hurghada, Egypt.
