Operation and monitoring of Freon-based cooling and air conditioning systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on cooling and air conditioning units.
Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, tempering/expansion valves, and air conditioning units.
Detect and repair Freon leaks and recharge circuits according to technical procedures.
Monitor temperatures in refrigerated and frozen rooms and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Use measuring devices to check pressures, temperatures, and refrigerant charge levels.
Clean and maintain heat exchangers and filters to ensure efficient operation.
Record operating readings and maintenance work and report faults to the direct supervisor.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical maintenance teams in performing joint maintenance tasks.
Adhere to occupational safety procedures when handling refrigeration systems and Freon gases and use personal protective equipment.
Keep equipment and tools clean.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
