Job Overview
North Texas Custom Roofing and Construction Management (NTCR&CM) is a leading provider of thorough, long-lasting, and environmentally friendly roofing solutions for both residential and commercial clients. With a steadfast commitment to high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service, we are seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Miami, Florida, United States.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our supply chain and logistics operations. This role is critical to ensuring our projects are supplied with the right materials and equipment at the right time, directly supporting our ability to deliver the high standards our clients expect. The offered compensation for this role is between $35 - $75 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics, warehouse, and transportation activities to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Direct the full order cycle, from procurement and inventory management to the timely delivery of materials to various construction sites.
* Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and transport companies to secure advantageous terms.
* Maintain accurate records of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
* Arrange and manage warehouse operations, including cataloguing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments.
* Proactively identify and resolve any logistical problems or complaints that may arise.
* Analyse data and metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to the logistics process.
* Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably within the construction, roofing, or a related industry.
* A strong record of successful distribution and logistics management.
* Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in standard logistics and inventory management software.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
