Roles & Responsibilities

Construction Manager – Logistics & Project Delivery (Supply Chain & Logistics Manager) Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in construction logistics to lead onsite coordination and control of safe, efficient and unrestricted traffic movements by the various contractors for construction traffic, materials delivery, labor transport, deep excavations, geotechnical investigations, coastal protection and development interfaces, and roads/bridges/utilities construction activities. The role is critical to maintaining schedule certainty, cost control, and overall safety of construction equipment and labour vehicular movement, particularly on large complex or constrained sites. This position ensures that logistics planning actively supports construction productivity and minimizes delays. Key Responsibilities Construction Logistics Management and Oversight, Manage day-to-day construction activities to ensure works delivered safely Coordinate with various contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour to maintain safe continuous workflow, in line with contractual requirements Develop, implement, oversee and update construction logistics plans aligned with project phasing and site constraints Control traffic generated by construction material deliveries, construction equipment, and transport of prefabricated elements Coordinate off-site storage, just-in-time deliveries, and material handling strategies Manage site access, site security company, laydown areas, temporary works, temporary roads/deviations and traffic management plans Proactively identify logistics risks and resolve supply bottlenecks Stakeholder & Team Coordination Liaise with project managers, planners, procurement teams, and project consultants/contractors Lead site logistics coordination meetings with subcontractors and logistics providers Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and logistics performance

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 10 years’ experience in construction management, with proven logistics involvement
  • Experience managing logistics on large, multi-trade or fast-paced construction projects
  • Experience in mega projects / large-scale developments is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of: Long lead items Material planning aligned with schedule International logistics & customs
  • Preferably worked with: PMC / Developers / Large Contractors
  • Must have strong coordination with: Construction Procurement Commercial teams
  • Experience in fast-track projects is a strong advantage
  • Required Experience – Supply Chain & Logistics Manager (PMC Level) 12+ years of experience
  • Typical Career Progression: 0–5 years: Logistics / Procurement Engineer 5–10 years: Senior Supply Chain / Logistics Engineer 10–15 years: Supply Chain / Logistics Manager 15+ years: Senior Supply Chain Manager
  • Below Requirement: 10 years: Borderline Less than 10 years: Not suitable
