Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee our accounts payable team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable within the FMCG industry. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the accounts payable team.

• Oversee the processing of invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions.

• Develop and implement accounts payable procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Review and approve payment runs.

• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and expense reports.

• Manage vendor relationships and address any payment issues.

• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports.

• Train and mentor junior accounts payable staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Experience in the FMCG industry is preferred

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.

• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Proficiency in Oracle is required.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
