Position Overview Join HAV Solutions Group's Interconnect Solutions R&D Team in Cairo, Egypt, and make a real impact on the next generation of Interconnect Solutions for Emulation and FPGA Prototyping platforms. You'll work as part of an Agile Scrum team in a flexible, collaborative, and friendly environment, using the latest cutting-edge technologies. This role offers a truly global scope and the opportunity to design, develop, and release products that solve complex interconnect challenges for our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and release products that meet functional, usability, reliability, and performance requirements. Develop software layers for interconnect protocols (PCIe, CXL, UCIe, and NVMe) using C/C++ and SystemC. Integrate software and hardware components into a fully functional system. Debug and analyze product issues to identify root causes and implement fixes and enhancements. Participate in project planning and tracking, task investigation, work breakdown, and risk identification. Write professional functional and design specification documents. Collaborate with experienced team members to drive technology advancement and consistently apply best practices. Support customers during design bring-up sessions and training.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming in a Linux development environment.
• Good knowledge of computer architecture and x86 architecture.
• Good understanding of IC design and verification flows and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of hardware description languages (HDLs), such as Verilog or VHDL.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, and/or Tcl.
