Role Description The Low Voltage CAD Drafter / Designer is a part-time remote role responsible for producing accurate drawings and design documentation for low voltage systems, such as structured cabling, security, audiovisual, and building technology infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating technical and engineering drawings, preparing detailed low voltage layouts in CAD, and coordinating architectural drawing sets to ensure proper integration of systems. The role involves interpreting project specifications, collaborating with project managers and engineers to clarify requirements, and maintaining drawing standards, templates, and layers for consistency across projects. The drafter/designer will also review plans for accuracy, perform revisions based on feedback, and support design presentations and submittals by providing clear, well-organized documentation.
