Today, we are recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to join our team in Egypt. What are my responsibilities?

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of Signaling and Telecommunications systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Lead installation teams and subcontractors to deliver activities safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Review technical drawings, installation documentation, and perform minor technical modifications in accordance with approved designs.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and provide guidance to installation teams throughout project execution.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Testing & Commissioning, Quality, and Customer teams to ensure smooth project delivery and interface management.
• Monitor installation progress, material availability, and site resources while maintaining accurate progress reporting.
• Support Testing & Commissioning activities by resolving installation-related issues and ensuring site readiness.
• Prepare and maintain As-Built documentation, inspection records, method statements, and technical reports.
• Support project planning, claims, and handover activities through accurate documentation and progress records.

Desired Candidate Profile

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in railway signaling projects, preferably within High-Speed Rail, Mainline, Metro, ETCS, Interlocking, or Rail Automation projects.
• Experience supervising signaling and telecommunications installation works and managing subcontractors on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of railway signaling installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), interface management, and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, cable layouts, installation manuals, and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teamcenter, or Aconex is considered an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with Siemens Mobility signaling systems and ETCS Level 1/Level 2 projects is considered an advantage.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
