Role Description The MEP BIM Manager will oversee the creation, coordination, and management of Building Information Models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across the medical city project. This full-time, on-site role in Alexandria, Egypt involves leading BIM coordination meetings, resolving clashes, and ensuring that MEP models align with architectural, structural, and medical equipment requirements. The role includes developing and enforcing BIM standards, workflows, and naming conventions, as well as supporting design and construction teams with accurate, up-to-date digital models and documentation. The MEP BIM Manager will collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders, provide guidance to BIM technicians, and help implement best practices for virtual design and construction. Ongoing responsibilities also include quality control of MEP BIM deliverables and supporting project timelines and compliance with healthcare project specifications.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination for complex healthcare or large-scale building projects. Candidates should possess experience in Virtual Design workflows, including model-based collaboration and clash detection processes. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Architecture and its integration with MEP systems within multidisciplinary BIM environments. Candidates should possess in-depth Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge, with the ability to interpret and model MEP designs accurately. Relevant experience with BIM software platforms (such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools) and common data environments is highly beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in BIM management roles. Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills, with the ability to guide teams and collaborate effectively with diverse project stakeholders. Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and familiarity with healthcare facility requirements and standards are considered an advantage.
