Commissioning Engineer Location: 6th of October City, Egypt Are you passionate about bringing industrial and automation systems to life? We're looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our team and lead the on-site testing, start-up, and handover of equipment and control systems. About the Role As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying that installed systems function according to design specifications, resolving issues during start-up, and ensuring a smooth transition from installation to full operation. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and automation systems Perform functional testing, loop checks, and system validation on-site Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during start-up and commissioning phases Coordinate with project, engineering, and installation teams to ensure schedules and quality standards are met Prepare commissioning reports, punch lists, and technical documentation Provide on-site training and support to operations and maintenance teams Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures throughout commissioning Support root cause analysis for recurring faults and recommend corrective actions Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering3–5 years of experience in commissioning, start-up, or field engineering roles Solid understanding of PLCs, control panels, sensors, actuators, and industrial automation systems Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and P&ID drawings Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel to project sites as required Good command of English (spoken and written) Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with SCADA/HMI systems Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) Prior experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial automation sectors What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and technical training A dynamic, hands-on work environment Exposure to diverse projects and technologies
