Sr. Contracts & Procurement Engineer (Marine Package)

Education Requirements and Acceptable Alternatives

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management – Mandatory

Specialization in Contracts / Commercial Management – Preferred

Strong hands-on contracts and procurement experience may substitute for formal specialization

Required Courses / Certifications

FIDIC Training (practical application is essential)

PMP – Advantage

Procurement / Tendering Courses – Preferred

Claims Management / Contract Law Training – Preferred

Required Experience – Sr. Contracts & Procurement Engineer (PMC Level)

10–12+ years of experience

Typical Career Progression:

0–5 years: Contracts / Procurement Engineer

5–10 years: Senior Contracts / Procurement Engineer

10–12 years: Sr. Contracts & Procurement Engineer

Below Requirement:

8–9 years: Borderline

Less than 8 years: Not suitable

Important Note (Marine Package):

·       Candidate must understand logistics constraints and procurement challenges in marine works

·       Exposure to:

o   Imported materials

o   Specialized contractors

o   Long lead equipment
