Role Description The Senior Electrical Technical Office role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The individual in this role will review and develop electrical designs, drawings, and specifications for commercial, administrative, and residential projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements, safety standards, and local codes. Responsibilities include preparing technical submittals, coordinating with design consultants and site teams, performing load calculations, and selecting appropriate electrical equipment and materials. The role involves resolving technical issues, supporting value engineering efforts, and providing guidance to junior technical office team members. The Senior Electrical Technical Office professional will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure timely and accurate delivery of electrical documentation and support during project execution.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles, including power systems and distribution. Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and Power Generation, including load calculations, panel schedules, and energy-efficient solutions. Candidates should possess experience working with Electrical Equipment, including selection, specification, and coordination with suppliers. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced certification or professional licensure is an advantage. Several years of experience in technical office or design roles within building or real estate projects, preferably in commercial and residential developments. Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit or similar), and familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work on-site in New Cairo, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate clearly in both written and spoken formats.
