Role Summary The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and supporting enterprise network security solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience in network, cybersecurity technologies, and proven experience with the Fortinet security portfolio, including Forti Gate, Forti Web, Fortisase, Forti SIEM, and Forti Soar in addition to Palo Alto Cortex and Palo Alto Firewalls The candidate must have practical experience in securing enterprise environments, handling complex network security projects, supporting customers, troubleshooting advanced security and network issues, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities Network Security Engineering Manage, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions including firewalls, VPN, IPS, web application firewall, SIEM, and related security platforms. Design and implement secure network architectures for enterprise, data center, cloud, and branch environments. Configure and manage firewall policies, NAT, routing, VPN tunnels, high availability, SD-WAN, IPS, application control, web filtering, and SSL inspection. Perform network security hardening based on best practices and compliance requirements.
Required Experience Minimum 10 years of professional experience in network and security engineering. Proven hands-on experience in implementing and supporting enterprise security solutions. Strong practical experience with the Fortinet and Palo Alto portfolio, especially:Forti Gate Forti Web Forti SIEMForti Soar Palo Alto Firewalls F5Experience in customer-facing implementation, support, and troubleshooting. Experience preparing technical documentation such as HLD, LLD, implementation plans, configuration guides, operation manuals, and handover documents. Experience working with enterprise customers, government, banking, financial, or large corporate environments is preferred.
Certifications Preferred The following certifications are preferred:Fortinet NSE / FCP / FCSS certifications CCNP R&S and CCIE is preferred CCNP Security or CCNP Enterprise CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification Forti Gate Administrator / Forti Web / Forti SIEM related certifications
