Odoo Implementation Specialist
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Odoo Implementation Specialist to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Odoo ERP system across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, configure Odoo modules, manage implementation projects, train end users, and ensure successful system adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation Lead end-to-end Odoo ERP implementation projects. Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders. Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements. Configure Odoo modules according to business needs. Coordinate implementation timelines and project deliverables. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Manage data migration from legacy systems into Odoo. Ensure successful system go-live and post-implementation support.
Business Analysis
Understand workflows across departments including:HRFinance Sales CRMPurchasing Inventory Manufacturing (if applicable) Project Management Translate business requirements into functional specifications. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
System Configuration
Configure standard Odoo modules. Create workflows and approval processes. Configure security roles and user permissions. Customize reports, dashboards, and forms. Coordinate with technical developers for custom developments.
Training & Support
Deliver training sessions for end users. Develop user manuals and training documentation. Provide ongoing system support. Troubleshoot functional issues. Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams. Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions. Communicate project status to management. Ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.2–5+ years of experience implementing ERP systems. Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP implementations. Strong understanding of business processes. Experience in ERP project management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Odoo Functional Certification. Experience with Odoo versions 16, 17, or later. Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies. Experience with business process reengineering. PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certifications are a plus.
Technical Skills
