You lead a small specialist team without losing your own hands-on edge, and you can make a thorny SAP reality intelligible to a finance or procurement head who doesn't care how it works, only that it does.
The work is to make our SAP landscape correct, clean, and reliable — then keep it that way. In practice that means taking direct authority over how the platform is configured and unwinding what has been set up wrong; establishing master data structure, ownership, and the governance that stops it from sliding back; driving the working-level delivery of implementation and re-configuration efforts and personally validating what the partner hands over; and running the system day to day across finance, procurement, project, and inventory processes for a large user base — transaction integrity, issue triage, change control, and the steady operational discipline a system of record demands.
