ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior B2C Product Manager to own the consumer app experience from first open to long-term retention. You will be responsible for translating complex health and diagnostic data into clear, motivating, and delightful user experiences — and for building the engagement loops that turn users into habitual, loyal customers. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, genuine domain knowledge in health and nutrition, and a track record of building consumer products that people come back to every day.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN:
▸ End-to-end app experience — onboarding, core dashboards, results surfaces, recommendation flows, and in-app purchase journeys.▸ Retention & engagement — design and measure the behavioral mechanics that drive daily active use: streaks, nudges, progress visualizations, and community features.▸ Analytics foundation — own the event taxonomy, funnel instrumentation, and north-star metrics; define what good looks like and hold the team accountable to it.▸ Personalization UX — translate AI-generated insights into understandable, trust-building moments for users without health expertise.▸ Cross-functional coordination — align UX, engineering, marketing, and supply workstreams around a coherent user journey and release cadence.▸ Backlog ownership — priorities ruthlessly, write tight specs, and ship with high craft standards.
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE:
▸ 5+ years in product management with a B2C mobile app as your primary product.▸ Strong analytics skills — personally built or owned a product analytics stack (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent); comfortable writing SQL and working directly in data tools.▸ Deep experience with retention mechanics — you have designed, instrumented, and measured engagement loops and lifecycle communications.▸ Background or demonstrated expertise in healthcare, nutrition, or preventive wellness — you understand the user psychology and trust dynamics of health products.▸ Experience shipping subscription or D2C purchase flows end-to-end.▸ Strong cross-functional collaborator — has led without authority across design, engineering, and marketing.
STRONG ADVANTAGE:
▸ Formal or deep self-directed knowledge in nutrition science, sports performance, or clinical health.▸ Experience with wearable or biosensor data surfaces (sleep, HRV, activity, biomarkers).▸ Familiarity with GDPR-compliant health data products or regulated health apps.▸ German-language market knowledge (EU launch focus).
BEHAVIOURS WE LOOK FOR:
▸ Empathetic to users — obsessed with reducing friction and making complex health information feel human and actionable.▸ Data-driven but not data-dependent — uses quantitative signals to sharpen intuition, not replace it.▸ Collaborative by default — builds alignment across workstreams without creating bottlenecks.▸ High craft — cares about copy, micro-interactions, and the emotional texture of the experience.
