Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer (Microsoft Dynamics & CRM testing)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Test Engineer with hands-on experience in testing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications, Microsoft Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of CRM solutions through comprehensive testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, API, and user acceptance testing.
The candidate should possess a strong understanding of CRM business processes, customer lifecycle management, sales and service workflows, and be able to work closely with business users, developers, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements related to Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions. Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Validate CRM modules including Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Activities, Cases, Customer Service, Marketing, and Workflow Automation. Test customizations, configurations, plugins, workflows, business rules, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Conduct API testing for integrations between Dynamics CRM and external systems. Perform database validation and data integrity testing. Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect management tools. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and End Users to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. Support release activities, production deployments, and post-release validation. Prepare test execution reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.* 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.* Hands-on experience testing CRM applications such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, Zoho CRM. Experience testing Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) modules. Experience testing CRM integrations with ERP systems, portals, mobile applications, and third-party services. Knowledge of Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress. ISTQB Certification is preferred. Experience working on government, enterprise, or digital transformation projects is a plus.
