Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer (Sales Executive) role based in Cairo. The Sales Engineer will identify and qualify sales opportunities, present technical solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotations, and tailoring solutions to meet customer technical and business requirements. The role involves providing pre-sales technical support, responding to customer inquiries, and coordinating with internal technical teams to ensure accurate solution design. The Sales Engineer will also maintain strong customer relationships, follow up on leads, track opportunities in a CRM system, and support post-sale activities to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to translate technical features into business value. Proven Sales and Customer Service abilities, including managing a sales pipeline and maintaining long-term client relationships. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, hardware, and software solutions relevant to distribution and enterprise environments. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience in IT distribution, system integrators, or technology vendors in Egypt or the Middle East is an advantage. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a goal-oriented and customer-focused mindset. Ability to work on-site in Cairo, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
