Role Description The Aviation Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis, responsible for overseeing aviation-related operations and services within Travitell Egypt’s travel portfolio. This role includes managing relationships with airlines, coordinating flight schedules and allocations, and ensuring accuracy in ticketing and reservations. The Aviation Manager will monitor flight safety considerations in coordination with airline partners, analyze route performance, and optimize flight options for corporate and individual clients. Daily tasks include supervising aviation staff, resolving operational issues, supporting program management for key accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable aviation and company policies. The role also involves preparing reports, using analytical tools to support decision-making, and collaborating closely with sales and customer service teams to deliver high-quality travel solutions. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate flight performance, pricing, and operational data for informed decision-making. Proven experience with Aircraft and Aviation operations, including familiarity with airline procedures, ticketing systems, and route planning. Program Management skills to oversee aviation-related projects, key accounts, and process improvements. Solid understanding of Flight Safety principles and ability to coordinate with airline partners on safety-related matters. Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience in the travel, airline, or tourism industry, preferably in an aviation-focused or operations management role. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with airlines, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with reservation and GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and standard office software. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and additional languages is an advantage.
