Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hospitality Design Coordinator role based in New Cairo. The Hospitality Design Coordinator will support the development and coordination of hospitality projects from concept through execution, working closely with architects, interior designers, and consultants. Responsibilities include organizing and managing design documentation, preparing and reviewing submittals, and assisting with material, furniture, and finishes selection specific to hospitality environments. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to align design intent with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The coordinator will also participate in client meetings, prepare presentations, and help ensure that all hospitality spaces meet the firm’s design, functionality, and sustainability objectives.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture with experience or interest in hospitality design, including space planning and understanding of building systems. Proficiency in Design Management, with the ability to coordinate design stages, manage design deliverables, and support quality control. Project Management skills to assist in scheduling, tracking milestones, coordinating with consultants, and supporting site-related follow-up. Experience handling Submittals, including preparing, reviewing, tracking, and coordinating approvals with design and project teams. Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members. Proficiency in relevant design and documentation tools (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office or similar). Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment. Familiarity with sustainability principles and a willingness to integrate them into hospitality design projects is an advantage.
