Tasks and Responsibilities:
Contact vessels for ETA & usual transit documents. Complete all vessels requirements including shipments delivery, collection, bunker, emergency measures,….etc. Arrange all crew change operations at Suez Canal area and Port Said port. Check number of tiers and check with vessel planner the potential of reducing it to minimize Suez Canal fees. Refer to vessels’ daily reports/schedules for ETA updates. Follow up on vessels passing through Suez Canal and coordinate with Egyptian authorities to obtain their clearance & related authorities for smooth transit without delay. Prepare all emergency requirements needed for all vessels passing through the Suez Canal. Report vessels arrival, entrance, and clearance time to Head Office operations. Collect all invoices and submit paychecks to relevant governmental authorities Perform other duties and responsibilities as instructed by direct manager.
Requirements:
Experience in maritime shipping industry with a focus on operations. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field Good Command of English Language Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
