Site-based HR Specialist with hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations across blue collar recruitment, engineeers recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to plant leadership, drive people initiatives aligned with business priorities, and ensure effective HR service delivery in high-volume, fast-paced industrial environments.
Key Accountabilities Partner closely with management and employees to strengthen work relationships, enhance engagement, and drive productivity and retention across plants and warehouses. Develop and implement manpower plans to ensure optimal workforce capacity and continuous enrichment of the company’s talent pool. Manage end-to-end recruitment up to Grade 7, utilizing diverse sourcing channels, conducting structured interviews, and ensuring high-quality hiring decisions. Own the full hiring lifecycle, including preparation and follow-up of all employment documentation (offers, due diligence, Form 111, and medical checks). Conduct exit interviews and partner with line managers to analyze trends, improve employee experience, and recommend retention initiatives. Lead onboarding activities, ensuring effective safety and quality inductions to accelerate new hire engagement and integration. Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, manage attendance and absenteeism records, and coordinate uniform distribution for shop-floor staff. Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements, internal procedures, and operational standards. Support the Performance Management cycle by facilitating orientation sessions for managers, tracking progress, and reporting appraisal outcomes. Execute personnel operations and manage governmental interactions, including labor office inspections, social insurance, medical insurance, and regulatory documentation. Maintain accurate payroll inputs by recording attendance, leave, sanctions, and incentives to ensure compliant and timely employee compensation. Manage contract renewals, end-of-service settlements, and system updates for both permanent and outsourced employees. Administer medical insurance processes, including claims, reimbursements, and eligibility validation in coordination with the personnel function. Participate in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and coordinate training logistics with L&D, ensuring effective implementation and reporting. Oversee reimbursement processes for both monetary and non-monetary employee entitlements.
Academic & Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. HR Certificate certification is a plus.1–3 years of relevant HR experience in operational or industrial environments. Demonstrated experience in site-based HR role, with prior exposure to managing plant or site HR operations and partnering with diverse business stakeholders. Strong understanding of HR operational processes within manufacturing or similar sectors. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Very good command of the English language. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
