<p>Maintain, support, document and plan installations/migrations for Backup, storage and SAN systems.</p>
<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul> <li>Administer Oranges storage and SAN systems including performance monitoring, systems installationand onboarding</li> <li>Escalate technical problems to vendor support and follow up until they are resolved</li> <li>Document all technical actions and provide reports to technical team leaders and management</li> <li>Co-operate with project managers and consultants to achieve project goals</li> <li>Coach junior team members by on-the-job and formal training</li> <li>Leads implementations of new storage systems</li> <li>Carry out storage migrations as per plans laid out by the Architecture and Planning teams Manages the daily activities of all enterprise storage systems</li> <li>Initiate internal projects in coordination with Architecture and Planning teams</li><li>Supervise the backup procedures and ensures backups are executed and tested as per schedules</li></ul>
