Oya Energy is is seeking to hire a General Accountant with strong experience in establishing and managing credit files with banks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the process of opening and structuring the company’s credit file with banks, including preparation, submission, and follow-up of all required documents.
- Manage and follow up on bank loans and credit facilities (short, medium, and long-term).
- Handle direct coordination with banks regarding:
Credit facilities and limits
Letters of Guarantee (LGs)
Letters of Credit (LCs)
Loan schedules, interest calculations, and repayments
- Prepare and review journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and periodic management reports.
- Issue, review, and control customer and supplier invoices, and follow up on collections and payments.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on tax reports (VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and corporate income tax).
- Coordinate with external auditors firms.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting and tax regulations.
