Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer (7+ years of experience)
Role Summary
Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer responsible for quantity take-offs, interim payment certificates (IPC / مستخلصات), cost control, variations, and final accounts for construction projects. The role ensures accurate measurement, timely payments, and full compliance with contract conditions and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and review detailed quantity take-offs based on approved drawings and specifications. Prepare client invoices in line with actual site progress and contract terms. Review, certify, and control subcontractors’ invoices and final payment applications. Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost performance, highlighting risks and savings. Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variations, change orders, and additional works. Maintain accurate QS records, measurements, approvals, and commercial documentation. Coordinate with site, planning, contracts, and finance teams to ensure accurate commercial reporting. Prepare and close final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.7+ years of experience in quantity surveying within contracting companies. Strong experience in invoices, quantity surveying, and cost control for construction projects. Solid understanding of BOQs, measurement methods, and construction contracts (FIDIC preferred). Proficient in Excel and Auto CAD; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Experience with BIM modeling and QSExperience on KSA projects is highly preferred. Fluent in English
