As they transition their digital presence to HubSpot CMS Hub, they are investing in building a high-performing, conversion-focused website that supports lead generation and revenue growth.

Role Overview


The Web Operations Manager will serve as the owner and operator of our client’s public-facing website, ensuring it functions as a high-performance platform for lead generation and revenue growth. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and technology, partnering closely with marketing, creative, and lifecycle teams to deliver a seamless, conversion-focused web experience.


Key Responsibilities


HubSpot CMS Ownership
  • Act as the primary administrator of HubSpot CMS Hub


  • Build, update, and optimize pages using HubSpot design tools, custom modules, and HubDB


  • Develop flexible, drag-and-drop templates and modules that allow content teams to launch campaign pages without coding


Technical SEO & Performance
  • Monitor site health, including Core Web Vitals, crawl errors, and redirect management


  • Maintain site architecture optimized for search engines and aligned with brand guidelines


Quality Assurance
  • Serve as the final quality checkpoint before launch


  • Ensure all pages are mobile-responsive, on-brand, and functional across browsers


Collaboration & Troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with creative teams on design assets and with lifecycle teams on forms, pop-ups, and CRM workflows


  • Investigate and resolve website issues, including broken layouts and non-converting forms


Qualifications


Experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with HubSpot CMS (CMS Hub)


  • Experience using HubSpot Design Manager, HubL, and HubDB


Skills
  • Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery skills for theme and template customization


  • Understanding of conversion optimization, pixel debugging, GTM tagging, and the impact of page speed on performance


  • Ability to inspect code, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions independently


  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality, performance standards, and brand consistency


  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively with cross-functional teams while balancing technical and business goals


Bonus Points For
  • HubSpot certifications (CMS for Developers or Marketing Hub Implementation)


  • Experience migrating websites from platforms such as WordPress or Nuxt to HubSpot


  • Basic scripting or Python knowledge for bulk updates or data hygiene tasks
