The Resident Engineer I will be responsible for the administration, operation, and day-to-day management of the NetWitness NDR solution at customer sites in Riyadh.
The role supports security monitoring, incident triage, platform health, reporting, and continuous improvement, with close coordination across technical teams and stakeholders.
Experience in delivering cybersecurity-related projects is a plus.
Key Responsibilities • Administer, operate, and maintain NetWitness NDR to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Perform daily monitoring, health checks, tuning, and troubleshooting for NetWitness components (sensors, collectors, management console).
• Analyze alerts and network security events, support investigation/triage, and escalate when required.
• Assist in onboarding network segments/devices into NetWitness and validate telemetry/coverage.
• Produce periodic reports (dashboards, KPIs, incident summaries, coverage status) and maintain operational documentation.
• Support cybersecurity project activities (requirements gathering, implementation support, testing, rollout, and handover).
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve detection quality, coverage, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for incident resolution, upgrades, patches, and renewals when needed.
• Follow change management, procurement, and approval workflows; provide technical inputs for procurement requests.
• Maintain compliance with customer policies and relevant security procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience administering and managing NDR solutions (should include NetWitness).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of the procurement process and technical documentation.
• Ability to analyze risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
