A fast-growing construction consulting company located in UAE and will be opening their offices soon at Egypt, India & Jordon is seeking to hire Senior Planning Engineer who will be working remotely for the first year then will be moved to the New Capital:

Job Description:

• Prepare resource and cost-loaded programs.
• Programs should cover all project phases: Engineering Procurement, Construction, Testing and Commissioning, Authority Approvals and Handing Over.
• Programs should reflect the strategy and methodology agreed upon with the projects teams
• Programs should meet the Contracts and Clients requirements, as well as cover all projects interfaces and delay risks
• Resource calculations should be based on industry productivity rates
• Produce levelled manpower histograms as well as levelled KPIs
• Cost loading should be according to the BOQ and following the CSI divisions
• Produce leveled cash flow and S-curves and Earned Value Management Plan
• Update the program and its KPIs weakly and produce progress reports
• Progress Reports should reflect the progress status, risk analysis, area of concern, critical activities, and look ahead schedules.
• Monitor day-to-day work progress of the critical areas.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required and deliver PowerPoint presentations as required.
• Draft letters to clients and subcontractors and issue and respond to notices of delay.
• Identify Delay Events and maintain all related history and document and prepare the Time Impact Analysis.
• Prepare and asses EOT claims
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• 7+ Years of experience
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills are a must.
• Construction engineering background.
• BSc in Engineering. PMP or MSc is a bonus
• High skills in using Primavera 6
• High skills in MS suite of applications (Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Power BI is a bonus
• High communication skills.
• Previous experience in large-scale construction projects is required.
• A short notice period is a bonus.
