A well-known company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer – Marine to manage and support the maintenance, reliability, and technical operations of its river fleet and related projects in Egypt.
This is ahands-on role combining marine maintenance, technical leadership, and
multi-project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Anticipate maintenance needs and plan technical works
Manage the store, workshop, and technical logistics in Luxor
Support finalization and launch of new boats and tugs
Contribute to new build projects (Niagara & Indiana)
Manage technical and logistical aspects of the Central Kitchen in Luxor
Coordinate internal teams and external contractors
Prepare summer maintenance plans
Ensure reporting, planning, and weekly technical follow-ups
Requirements
6–10+ years
experience in marine or technical maintenance
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Experience with steam systems is a strong plus
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Hands-on, solution-oriented (problem solver & doer)
