Responsibilities Review and approve construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure they meet project requirements and engineering standards. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, identify issues, and recommend solutions. Provide technical support and guidance to the field engineering team to resolve construction-related problems. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to coordinate design changes and resolve conflicts. Develop and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and field reports. Assist with the preparation of engineering reports, technical memoranda, and presentations. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements. Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineering (P. E.) license or the ability to obtain one.5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction and project management. Strong technical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficient in Auto CAD, Revit, and other design software. Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and equipment.
