Junior Production Engineer – Sheet Metal

About the Role

Responsibilities:

Oversee the production process of fire-rated steel doors from start to finish. Plan, schedule, and control production activities to meet daily/weekly/monthly output targets. Ensure optimal utilization of machinery such as bending machines and welding stations. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Maintain accurate production reports, process documentation, and compliance records. Develop and implement production strategies to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering or related field. From 1 to 3 years experience.
Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Sheet metal fabrication processes (cutting, bending, forming, welding). Proven experience in sheet metal industry, preferably but not necessarily in the manufacturing of fire-rated steel doors. Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures. Good in CAD and solidworks software and other engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
