• Supervision of Subordinates
• Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of Production section activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.

• Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures: 
• Recommend improvements to policy and direct the implementation of instructions covering all areas of production activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service

• Budgets and Plans
• Contribute to the preparation of the logistics section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.
• Develop plans to increase operations efficiency and eliminate losses to deliver yearly production savings.

• Day- to-day Operations: 
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of Production to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
• Work as directed by the manufacturing head in co-coordinating and checking the work of the Processes Operators within their groups to ensure the target of department is fully achieved. 
• Put the budgetary plan related to the CAPEX of the department projects and R&M and supervise the projects in order to enhance the reliability of the process 
• Maintain high standards of the work of the operation members in shifts in order to keep the work running smoothly from start to end point of processes.
• On daily basis, give the work schedule to his team to ensure adequate stocks of chemicals, etc. are available.
• Coordinate with the shift managers and alignment with the manufacturing head to ensure that all duties are carried out efficiently in all productions processes to   meet the standard operation.
• Review all ends of shift reports to ensure that the job carried out during shifts is in accordance with the approved timetables and has been efficiently implemented.
• Arrange for training for the refinery team concerning efficient methods of work, correct operation of machines and correct attitudes to work in terms of discipline, timekeeping and cleanliness
• Arrange with manufacturing head to make decisions, allocation of equipment and labor to different locations in refinery to maintain the smooth operation.
• Liaise with the shift managers and all departments in the refinery with alignment with manufacturing head to Assure that all work inside refinery done with the high standard of safety, GMP and food safety. 
• Ensure that all activities are monitored and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards
• Supervise the implementation of projects to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives

• Continuous Improvement: 
• Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

• Reporting: 
• Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet Savola and department requirements, policies and standards.

• Health, Safety, & Environment: 
• Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude
