The Building Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of building construction projects. The manager ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards, while coordinating all stakeholders and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and oversee all phases of building construction projects.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality standards on-site.
• Prepare periodic project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics.
• Identify risks, issues, and delays, and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and contractual obligations.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing building construction projects.
• Proven experience in handling large-scale building projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
