To design and develop electrical systems for various projects in compliance with approved codes and standards, while providing effective engineering solutions within a consulting engineering environment.

• Design and prepare electrical drawings for building projects (power, lighting, low current, and low voltage systems).
• Perform detailed electrical calculations (load calculations, cable sizing, circuit breakers, voltage drop).
• Prepare technical specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines within the consulting office (architectural, mechanical, structural).
• Review and approve Shop Drawings submitted by contractors.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, and local codes).
• Participate in technical meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and design studies as required.
• Follow up on design revisions based on project or client requirements.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• have 7 to 10 years of proven experience in electrical design.
• Previous experience working in consulting engineering offices.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and/or ETAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure.
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
