The Landscape Irrigation Technical Office Engineer is responsible for preparing, designing, and supervising irrigation systems for landscape projects. The engineer ensures that all irrigation networks are designed and implemented according to project specifications, best practices, and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare irrigation network plans for landscape projects.
- Calculate water requirements and design efficient irrigation systems.
- Prepare technical drawings, details, and BOQs for irrigation works.
- Review and approve shop drawings submitted by contractors.
- Coordinate with landscape architects, civil engineers, and site teams to ensure proper implementation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation of irrigation systems.
- Prepare periodic reports on irrigation works and site progress.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering (preferably related to irrigation/landscape).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape irrigation design and technical office work.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps, and control systems.
- Experience with preparing BOQs, drawings, and technical reports.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and irrigation design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
