- Inventory Accuracy and Control:
- Implement and manage robust inventory control systems (such as cycle counting or perpetual inventory methods) to ensure a high level of accuracy for all stock items.
- Utilize the SAP system to track movements, minimize discrepancies, and prepare regular stock reports for management.
- Operations Management & Efficiency:
- Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of all materials, ensuring efficient material flow to and from the production floor.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods, especially for heavy, specialized materials like Stainless Steel sheets and commercial equipment.
- Manage and maintain the warehouse fleet (forklifts, lifting equipment) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Team Leadership & Safety:
- Lead, motivate, train, and manage the warehouse team to achieve productivity targets and adhere to company policies.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) standards, particularly concerning the safe handling and storage of heavy and materials.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate closely with the Supply Chain and Production teams to meet production schedules and manage the timely loading/unloading of goods for local and international shipments.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience from 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, with 1 years minimum in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Proficiency in using SAP system for Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality.Proven experience in advanced inventory techniques (e.g., ABC analysis, optimized picking routes).Knowledge of best practices for storing and handling specialized industrial materials (metals, large equipment).
